Handwoven rug from Central India (Telangana). Hand (block) printed with natural dyes in a style that is mainly found in South East India (also known as Kalamkari). These rugs are made by Mr. Pitta Ramulu of Telangana, who won the prestigious National Handloom Award in 2015 for his unique style, and his preservation and mastery of traditional techniques.
